Apple has raised the price of its cheapest iPhone, albeit only by 20 pounds, as the company has announced a handful of new products at its March event. However, none of the new gadgets will be available in Russia, as the company will stop all sales of goods in the country due to the invasion of Ukraine. Apple's share price has fallen by more than 10% in the last month following the collapse of technology stocks, although it has risen by 2.3% in pre-market trading following the release of the product.
Only smaller budget phones
The iPhone SE will now put consumers back at least 419 pounds compared to 399 pounds for last year's model. Advertisement It comes with a slightly larger battery and an Apple A15 Bionic chip, which is also present in the entire iPhone 13 line. But unlike other phones in the iPhone 13 line, it only has a 7MP camera on the front and a 12MP camera on the back also has a larger aperture.
However, the iPhone SE will also support 5G connections in the sub-6 GHz band, which means it should be good for the next few years as more mobile networks start using that part of the spectrum. But since the SE comes with the smallest smartphone screen that Apple offers - measuring 4.7 "angle-to-angle, with a resolution of only 1334 x 750 pixels - it may not be ideal for streaming movies.
